Aja DePaolo was born and raised in Connecticut. Her formative dance training began at age 6 at D'valda and Sirico Dance Centre in Fairfield, CT. She is a graduate from the University of the Arts, with a BFA in Dance Performance. Upon graduation in 2012, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her professional dance career. Since her move she has completed residencies in Las Vegas performing in Cee Lo Green's, 'Loberace' & Britney Spear’s ‘Piece of Me’ Shows. She has been seen on various TV shows such as ‘The Voice’, 'Blackish', ‘Glee’ 'The Goldberg's', & ‘The Ellen Show’. Aja has toured with Selena Gomez in the 'Stars Dance World Tour' and performed West Side Story's 'America" honoring Rita Moreno at the 38th Annual Kennedy Center Honors. She has performed in various award show around the world, such as the ‘MTV VMA’s, ‘Billboard Awards’, ‘iHeart Radio Awards’, & starred in a number of Music Videos. Throughout her career she has continued her love & passion for teaching dance. She has taught many genres professionally for 10 years nationally & internationally. Aja is currently seen teaching on the Dance Teacher Web virtual and in person platform.
