Alyssa Arneaud is currently a professional dancer for the Miami Heat (NBA) and student at the University of Miami. Born and raised in South Florida, Alyssa has been trained by professional dancers since a very young age. Alyssa started dancing when she was two years old and fell in love with the art after taking consecutive classes in genres ranging from ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, and jazz-funk. She graduated from Somerset Arts Conservatory and competed on her middle and high school award-winning dance team (the Somerset Pantherettes) where she was captain her senior year. After graduating top of her class, she went on to dance at the collegiate level for two years for the University of Miami- where she competed nationally, cheered on her school’s football and basketball teams, and was awarded the Rookie of the Year after her first season. With professional jobs including performing for the Super Bowl LIV Pre-Game Party, as well as for Bang Energy, Alyssa is currently completing a Biochemistry and Nutrition degree at the University of Miami, with minors in dance, chemistry, and creative advertising. She loves kids and enjoys teaching the youth!
