Carey grew up in Memphis, TN dancing as soon as she could walk. After graduating from The University of Arizona with a BFA in Dance, Carey moved to NYC where she worked as a dancer, actor, singer, choreographer, and creative director. Some performance credits include Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon), Elf the Musical Broadway National Tour, Asi Se Baila (Telemundo), Dance Battle Playlist (Nickelodeon), NBC Upfronts (NBC), Sidelined (Lifetime Movie), Royal Caribbean, and numerous commercials. She is a vertical dancer trained in jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, partnering, and Latin styles. In addition to teaching dance, Carey is a certified Pilates instructor. Carey moved to Miami, FL in 2020 and has loved becoming immersed in the dance community. She has the privilege of bringing her love of dance to others by teaching students of all ages and levels. She has set choreography and taught recreational, competition, and professional dancers throughout the country, including a few Miami studios. Movement, music, and fun are three of her favorite things that she loves sharing with others! Recently Carey has booked the Angelica tour of HAMILTON! You can see her in a show 2022-2023!
