Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristin De Cesare.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started with a passion and love for dancing, creating, and teaching.
Owner and founder of ConfiDance (CDK), Kristin has carefully curated a team of amazing instructors who embody the ConfiDance/CDK method. Kristin and her team teach this unique method, which encourages children and adults to feel empowered by self-love and confidence while learning how to connect their mind and body to dance and follow their joy.
“Exploring Life & Business with Kristin De Cesare of ConfiDance by Kristin”
“I started with a passion and love for dancing, creating, and teaching.”
From a young age, movement was my language, a way to express what words couldn’t. That love carried me across stages all over the world, performing with Pitbull as one of his featured dancers, later stepping into the role of creative director, and sharing the stage with countless incredible artists. I’ve been lucky enough to perform on major TV shows, award stages, and in music videos that reached millions, but what always lit me up most was the connection. The way dance could transform not just how people move, but how they feel.
Along my journey, I also earned my Master’s Degree in Education, and the seed for ConfiDance by Kristin was planted. I wanted to bring together everything I love about dance, creativity, and teaching into something that uplifts others. Today, our team of amazing instructors embodies the ConfiDance/CDK method, a movement philosophy that helps children and adults alike find empowerment through self-love, confidence, and joyful connection between mind and body.
But as we all learn, life isn’t linear. It’s full of twists, turns, and unexpected redirections. As a dancer, I learned to grow a thicker skin, to keep showing up after rejection, to trust that every pivot is a teacher, and that growth is rarely comfortable but always worth it. Every experience has shaped not only the artist and educator I am today, but also the person, one who believes that confidence isn’t about perfection. It’s about connection, courage, and learning to move through life with grace, even when the rhythm changes.
