Janelle Catalanotti

Janelle is a professional dancer and choreographer from Long Island, NY. She has been working professionally since the age of 5, when she became the youngest KNICKS CITY KID at Madison Square Garden. She also performed with the WNBA Liberty Torches. She performed lead roles in regional theater before making her BROADWAY debut at just 8 years old as Jemima in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! She also was on Broadway as Betty Lou Who in How The Grinch Stole Christmas. She also toured nationally witht that same production.

In high school Janelle was a cheerleader on her competitive cheer team. A graduate of The Professional Performing Arts Center, Janelle had extensive training in all genres of dance and has trained at New York City’s Broadway Dance Center as well as The Alvin Ailey School.

An award winning choreographer, Janelle has been teaching for over 10 years to students age 3-20 and hopes to share her passion for dance wtih the upcoming generation to help guide them to be their ulitmate best and to believe in their dreams.
