Joi McCoy was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida surrounded by music and the arts from a young age. Early on she trained her talents in both a performing arts Middle and High school focusing on contemporary, jazz and modern. She holds multiple competitive dance trophies as well as a State Champion and State-Runner-Up title in competitive cheerleading. She graduated from UCLA with a B.A in Musical Theater while simultaneously training in both Pom-Cheerleading and Hip hop in her school’s dance clubs. Recently, Joi has finished two Broadway National Tours of Hairspray and Mean Girls. Joi loves teaching the next generation how to shine through performing. With this unique background of skills and performing, Joi is ecstatic to be apart of the Confidance community.
