Stella Casas

"I Am Already Living in Alignment with my Purpose."

Stella Casas Ciniglio is a Puerto Rican born and raised professional dancer and instructor currently based in New York City. She began her dance training at a young age and continued her pre-professional studies with leading schools and companies in Puerto Rico. Her training also includes programs and intensives in the United States, including The Washington Ballet, Steps on Broadway, and Point Park University, among others.
Stella has performed in numerous classical and contemporary productions in Puerto Rico and the U.S., dancing both corps and featured roles. She danced with United Ballet Theatre (2021–2022), a company based in Orlando, and later joined Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico for the 2022–2024 seasons. She has also participated in international festivals, dance competitions, and artistic projects, including concert dance, music videos, and commercial entertainment. In addition to her classical foundation, she is a versatile performer with training across multiple styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, ballroom, hip hop, and musical theater.

Her passion for teaching and leadership began in high school, where she was president and choreographer of her dance team. This early experience sparked a strong commitment to mentorship, leading her to teach at her home studio, Centro Danza. There, she worked with a wide range of students, from young children to adults and pre-professional dancers, teaching styles such as ballet, jazz, musical theatre, ballroom, and hip hop.

Stella has participated in training programs with the Radio City Rockettes, and her musical theater credits include The Addams Family (2024) and Rock of Ages (2025) in Puerto Rico, and On Your Feet! (2026) at North Shore Music Theatre in Massachusetts.
She holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Puerto Rico and is a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body. She currently teaches Pilates in New York City, where she continues to combine her dance background with her passion for movement, education, and helping others build strength and confidence.
