Mia was born and raised in Queens, NY and has been dancing & tumbling since the age of 3. She is a versatile dancer trained in many styles, including acrobatics. Mia grew up training at Landrum School of Performing Arts, where she was part of the All-Star Competition Team, winning multiple first-place titles as a soloist, along with regional and national awards in group dances at competitions. She also attended the Sheer Elite Dance Workshop in Las Vegas on a full scholarship for a week of intensive training in ballet and contemporary.

After dancing competitively at LIU Post on the Division I Collegiate Dance Team for two seasons and becoming a 2x National Champion in the Open Spirit Game Day Program at Nationals in Orlando, Florida, Mia felt passionate about sharing her love of dance with young dancers. She has teaching experience at Nadia’s Performing Arts Centre and Landrum School of Performing Arts, where she teaches dancers and is an acro coach ages 3–18 in all styles of dance at the recreational/company level. Mia recently graduated from the LIU Post Nutrition and Dietetics program and will continue her education at the masters level this upcoming fall. Mia is super excited for this new chapter at ConfiDance!
